About

This Afrofuturist, anti-colonial, sci-fi punk musical tells the story of Neptune (Cheryl Isheja and Elvis Ngabo) and Matalusa (Kaya Free) who join a hacking collective in an abandoned e-waste dump in Rwanda to fight injustice on a global scale. Saul Williams's extraordinary score draws together oral storytelling and song poetry traditions from across the African diaspora to tell a tale in which the binaries which maintain power structures are laid to waste.
