‘Bernadette, Felicia and Mitzi are three fabulous drag queen performers tired of the dangers posed by urban life in Sydney. When an offer comes up for a four-week cabaret engagement in Alice Springs, the three friends buy an old school bus, which they name “Priscilla.” And without haste or fear, they head for the adventure of their lifetime with the music of Shirley Bassey blasting from the stereo.
