Book NowAbout
Not a Eugene O'Neill adaptation but instead a rip-roaring, time-hopping martial arts epic, The Iceman Cometh finds two Ming Dynasty warriors rocketed into the present day after being frozen in ice for centuries. After thawing out, the kindhearted Ching (Yuen Biao) and the devious Fung San (Yuen Wah) have to quickly adjust to life in modern Hong Kong. Ching is taken under the wing of the worldly Polly (Maggie Cheung, in one of her brassiest and most cocksure performances), who takes advantage of his strength and undying loyalty, while Fung San finds the lawless underworld of the city-state immediately to his liking. A rollicking, genre-bending fantasy-action-comedy that packs an almighty punch!
