Boldly confronting the complex emotions of emptiness and unfulfillment, The Lack tells the stories of six women, each of whom are seeking to identify and fulfil varying voids in their lives. From cathartic struggles relating to abandonment and detachment, to dreamlike journeys and psychoanalytic visions, each of these distinct narratives take place amongst vast and unrelenting natural landscapes, deliberately chosen to symbolically enhance the tumultuous nature of the emotional challenges faced by each of the women.
