For the first in a series of exhibitions in which Queensland artists curate an exhibition from the Gallery's Collection, distinguished painter Lawrence Daws has worked with Gallery staff to select works from the Collection that are particularly meaningful to him. The display includes works by artists who have influenced Daws or with whom he has had a personal connection. Examples of Daws's own paintings are shown in the adjoining Australian Galleries.
