Audiences around Queensland will gain insight into one hundred and fifty years of photography in the state with the first Xstrata Coal Talking Queensland Art Lecture Tour visiting 11 venues in September and October.
The series of free public lectures explore images from the Queensland Art Gallery exhibition '150 Years: Photography in Queensland', which highlights the Gallery's holdings of photographs made in Queensland in the years since the state was formed in 1859.
